An overview of the great Creozone 3D printing plastic

Hello!
Very often there are questions about good plastic, odorless, with high adhesion to the table. I usually recommend Creozone 1.75mm 3D printer filament. This is an inexpensive plastic with free shipping, in coils of 1 kg.
You can view the range of Creozone filament here
So, for starters, a little introductory about the filament. If you have a simple budget 3D printer, then look towards good quality PLA plastic and filaments based on it (for example, WOOD). If your printer has a heated table, then it makes sense to look at plastics such as ABS / PETG. If your 3D printer is equipped with a direct feed, then soft plastics like Flex / TPU / Nylon are tough for him. Well, then experiments begin: luminous plastics, conductive, changing color with temperature, heavy-duty, and so on.

All Creozone plastics come with high quality bar certification with stable diameter and print temperature, and are free of bubbles inside the bar and other foreign matter. Plastic is almost completely devoid of a characteristic odor. Supplied in vacuum-sealed coils. The mass of the package is more than 1.2 kg, the mass of plastic is not less than 1 kg. The length depends on the type of plastic. Part of the assortment is in a warehouse in the Russian Federation, so it makes sense to look at what can be delivered by courier in 2-3 days.
Let’s start with the exotic.
Lot with special high-strength PLA filament + 25% Carbon Fiber
The base — PLA plastic — makes it possible to print on any type of printer. A special additive in the form of high-strength carbon fiber improves the properties and expands the scope of plastic.

Plastic is used for printing large models with increased strength, for parts of demonstration mechanisms, for printing repair, body parts, and so on. Due to the use of PLA plastic as the basis, there are no special requirements for equipment — you can buy and try it on your regular 3D printer.

Print temperatures:PLA: 195°C — 230°C
It is allowed to use a heated table up to 50°-70°

Checking the diameter of the rod — the micrometer showed 1.75 mm in different parts of the coil. When printing, the sagging that usually occurs on cheap plastic (when the diameter «walks») is not noticed.

The structure of this plastic is similar to PLA with carbon fiber inclusions. However, the plastic is uniform. It’s hard enough to break. Plastic stretches with great effort, with excessive force it begins to deform. In the place of the break, the plastic «turned white».
The surface of the resulting part is matte. Supports are removed without any problems.

It is good to use such plastic in complex, loaded structures, in experiments, for printing body parts.

Next, I turn to the no less interesting, but soft Flexible plastic, the scope of which is somewhat different.
Elastic TPU plastic from a warehouse in the Russian Federation.

Characteristics:
Brand: CREOZONE
Diameter: 1.75mm
Net weight: 1kg
Gross weight: 1.21
Type: Flexible
Black color
Claimed bar diameter accuracy: ± 0.03mm
Declared: absence of bubbles (feature of the technical process), stability of parameters, stable fluidity (no plugs in the hot end)

Print temperatures:PLA: 190°C — 210°C
A heated table is allowed.

Checking the diameter along the entire length showed no deviations.

Lot with PLA plastic, including PLA CLEAR (transparent)

Characteristics:
Brand: CREOZONE
Diameter: 1.75mm
Net weight: 1kg
Gross weight: 1.21
Type: PLA
Color: transparent (Clear)
Declared bar diameter accuracy: PLA: ± 0.03mm
Declared: absence of bubbles (feature of the technical process), stability of parameters, stable fluidity (no plugs in the hot end)
Available colors:
PLA: Black, White, Blue, Red, Green, Grey, Yellow, Clear

Print temperatures: PLA: 190°C — 210°C
It is allowed to use a heated table up to 50°-60°
I printed on a cold table (I have adhesive tape)
The plastic is transparent. Filament segments are similar to light guides, however, plastic transmits light perfectly and is recommended for use in printing light-transmitting structures.

The diameter is sustained along the entire length. Visually, there are no foreign inclusions in the bar.

Print example.

A small note.
Base plastics such as PLA/ABS/PETG work without problems on any 3D printer. Usually a means to increase adhesion to the table such as glue/tape is required. For ABS/PETG it is desirable to have a heated table. Plastics like NYLON require a closed chamber for printing, so that deformation does not occur during printing from drafts and uneven shrinkage. In general, drafts harm even simple ABS.

When printing with plastics with inclusions such as WOOD / Carbon / Metal, it is advisable to monitor the condition of the nozzle and clean it. For printing with soft plastics, it is desirable to have a direct feed extruder adapted for printing with these types of filament. Specifically, an insert that reduces the gap at the feed gear. In general, they manage to print both on Bowden, and without a camera, and on a cold table. The main thing is not to be afraid to try and experiment!))

All plastic is of high quality, it is tested at the factory for compliance with the parameters.
