The Bose SoundLink Mini II is the manufacturer’s upgraded version of the highly successful Bluetooth speakers. Visually, almost nothing has changed, but technically there are improvements: unlike the previous model, this device is able to receive energy without a charger, directly via microUSB.
The duration of a full charge, measured by us during the test, was a good 1 hour and 12 minutes. The received energy was enough for 7 hours 45 minutes of continuous operation of the columns. For normal everyday use, this should be enough, but it’s worth noting that other models we’ve tested have significantly longer battery life. In terms of equipment, the manufacturer also saved a little. In particular, the SoundLink Mini II does not have WLAN or aptX on board.
Strengths of Bose
That’s what it’s simply impossible to complain about in the Bose SoundLink Mini II speakers, it’s the sound quality. Despite their compact design, these Bluetooth speakers create an impressive soundstage. Especially in classics such as Ludovico Einaudi’s Una Mattina or Johann Sebastian Bach’s Air, the SoundLink Mini II reveal their strongest qualities: the high frequencies are clear and detailed, the piano sounds seem to be sorted out. Even if you crank the volume of the speakers to the maximum, they still show resistance to rattling. There are minimal flaws in the sound of low frequencies. Their SoundLink Mini II does not always play cleanly, but this is criticism, as they say, at the highest level.
SoundLink Mini II: Alternative
In terms of sound quality, none of the 20 models we tested can match the Bose SoundLink Mini II. But for such quality, Bose asks a very high price — at present, these speakers cost an average of 17 thousand rubles. At the same time, for half of this amount, you can pick up speakers with acceptable sound quality.

CONCLUSION
Bose SoundLink Mini II during testing excelled primarily in sound quality. Bluetooth speakers sound balanced and powerful despite their compact design. But this was not enough to win the overall standings: the average battery life and poor equipment cost these speakers many important rating points.
