Top-of-the-line Bluetooth speaker
The Creative Labs Omni speaker supports hands-free calling and Internet radio, is equipped with a Wi-Fi module, a microSD slot and an Aux jack. The device works with the Bluetooth 4.2 standard and can act as a voice assistant with Siri or Google Now. You can control multiple speakers at the same time from one head unit to play the same music at once in different rooms.
Creative Labs Omni has a source select button, as well as play and pause buttons. The speaker housing itself is splash-proof. The price of the column is about 7,000 rubles.
Average sound quality and short life
Despite the good overall score that the Omni received for decent equipment, the speaker will not give you great sound: in our test, many models outperformed the speaker in sound quality, moving it to the bottom of the rating.
Omni battery capacity is 1600 mAh, there is an LED battery indicator. The speaker discharges quite quickly, during the test it lasted only 7.5 hours without recharging. However, the gadget also quickly replenished the charge — in just 2 hours. Charging is possible via USB, the necessary cable is included in the package.
The Creative Labs Omni speaker is very compact: its dimensions are 71 x 201 x 69 mm and 453 grams. Speakers are available in black and white.
Test results
Portable speaker Creative Labs Omni was on the 17/36 place in our rating, deserving a good mark for the equipment. It has Wi-Fi, a microSD slot, internet radio, and even splash protection. Despite the speaker’s many advantages, it lacks sound quality and portability to be the best.
