Within the walls of the test lab, the Dell S2718D monitor showed itself as a device of rather simply acceptable quality and therefore received only 66.4 percentage points out of 100 possible. As part of our comprehensive laboratory tests, the device did not shine in any of the individual test disciplines, it did not reveal any features. During the test, we had to take away a certain number of rating points from the monitor: for example, in the Equipment category, the device gave a very poor result. Value for money at the time of writing the Dell S2718D also turned out to be quite poor.

Same size, same price, but significantly better: The LG 27UD58-B outperformed during our test runs and finished in an excellent fourth place in our respective rankings. The reasons for this success are the IPS panel with UHD resolution, high viewing angle stability and very ergonomic handling.
