The PAPALOOK AF925 webcam opens the rating. The model with the most unusual design: the front panel is made of glass, it looks really special. The model comes in a small cardboard box with basic information. Appearance for an amateur, there are no sensors here, and the whole camera is a lens, glass panel and ribbed edges, under which the microphone is hidden. Dimensions are slightly smaller than standard cameras from the same Logitech. Many cameras from this company have a fisheye problem, this was not noticed on the same model.

Maximum image quality — 2K, which takes the camera to a new level. The refresh rate of the picture is thirty hertz. But there is an option to lower it to Full HD and put premium sixty hertz already there. It uses a cheap CMOS type matrix. The mount here has a rotation of three hundred and sixty degrees and adjustment for the angle of inclination. But to be honest, the quality is so-so. Autofocus works well, but there are times when it disappears somewhere or cannot be adjusted, and the whole picture turns into soap. Compatible with all operating systems and programs, up to Android and Ubuntu. Another feature is that in most cases the device works without additional drivers: plug it in and use it.

The viewing angle, as in most Chinese cameras, is small here, according to the manufacturer — 65 degrees horizontally. The disadvantages include the viewing angle, which I have already mentioned, so I do not recommend the camera for videoconferencing. But the build quality is in no way inferior to competitors and even outperforms them somewhere. The price is 3,000 rubles.

One of the most expensive models in my rating. A dubious purchase, given that the functionality is small, and the camera did not receive additional technologies. I hasten to question 2K images because of the cheap matrix and autofocus.

Wsdcam PC-C1

In fifth place is Wsdcam PC-C1. In connection with the coronavirus pandemic, webcams have become necessary for almost all categories of the population. Teachers conduct lessons with their help, employees of large companies participate in online conferences, and we see people who are in a special risk group only through them. The camera has a fairly familiar design that can already be called standard for cameras regardless of price.. And the shape resembles the more expensive Logitech Bio. Let’s move on to the system part of the device. It uses a special lens with Full HD video resolution and a refresh rate of thirty frames per second.. The camera was based on a CMOS type matrix, which is characterized by fast image reading, but at the same time, a rather low sensor sensitivity.

According to the camera position settings, here the manufacturer gives us complete freedom, the universal mounting leg of the device allows you to rotate the lens by three hundred and sixty degrees around its axis, and change the angle. There are also interesting features. But I especially want to highlight autofocus, which still has a setting — both automatic and manual. The built-in microphone is located slightly to the right of the lens. It is enough for unimportant conferences, but if you want to get clear sound without delays and other nuances, then I advise you to buy a separate device. Autoconfiguration is fast, at the first connection some drivers are downloaded, and then all that remains is to specify the display device in the program in which you plan to use the webcam.

The price of the device is 800 rubles, for the money, it works very well, but in dimly lit rooms the camera seems to “blur” the image, perhaps this is due to autofocus, which does not work in such conditions. According to some users, if you often touch the camera and move it from one place to another, then the case very quickly loses its appearance.

This is definitely one of the best budget camcorders from Ali with a low price, a good image and a couple of useful features.

REDRAGON GW900

The fourth line is occupied by REDRAGON GW900. Included with the device we are waiting for a nice bonus in the form of a small tripod. The webcam is made of plastic with an inserted metal plate. The camera shows a picture in Full HD-resolution, and the smoothness of the picture at the same time is 60 hertz. And it has great autofocus, however, unlike the cheaper TISHRIC H701, it already needs good lighting. The microphone is far from a studio one, but it transmits sound well, even if the source is more than three meters away. The microphone system is hidden under ribbed protrusions along the edges of the model.

The viewing angle is another feature that has been worked out in the device.. It is wider here than most of the positions in my rating, even more than the LOGITECH C270i, which costs about the same. Fasteners of very good quality, you can fix almost anywhere. They can adjust the angle and height, but for video conferencing, I would recommend using a tripod: it gives us more options for installing and adjusting the webcam.

The device is compatible with all operating systems and does not require additional settings, even with the same Android it works quite tolerably. Questions from users are caused by the picture, its light perception and color reproduction, but problems arise only in poor lighting, so consider the terms of use before buying. The price of the model is 3,000 rubles.

Redragon is famous for its mice and keyboards, they are the best on the market, and now webcams have also begun to be released. If the quality and reliability do not raise questions, then I would like to see the price a little less.

VizoLink N21A

The top three is opened by VizoLink N21A. The device is delivered in a cardboard box, which has a poor appearance. But as soon as we open it, we immediately understand that this time the Chinese decided not to save money and put a good tripod with elastic legs in the kit, with which the camera can be mounted in the most unusual places. The webcam itself has an oval shape and is completely made of black plastic., and the percentage of the total area occupied by the lens is quite large. But despite its size, you should not count on a detailed picture, because resolution — standard 1920 by 1080 pixels with a smooth picture of thirty hertz. As in the case of the Wsdcam PC-C1, an inexpensive CMOS-type matrix is ​​used here.

To use the camera as a monitor mount, a tripod is not needed, there is a convenient stand with adjustable height and angle, which is convenient. A noteworthy detail is the indicator located slightly to the right of the lens, it shows that the camera is active, so it will be more difficult for the special services to record you, and another factor interferes with this — a special cap that is easily attached to the camera. The CMOS type sensor has an average viewing angle of 110 degrees.. Among the interesting features and features, in addition to those already listed, is a powerful microphone with sensitivity up to five meters away and noise suppression technology. According to users, the sound is clear and without delays. There is also autofocus, it works well, but you should not count on great results. Let’s not forget about the simple use without drivers and third-party programs, the device is compatible with Windows, MacOS and Linux.

The disadvantages of the device include infrequent cases of marriage, most often they are associated with a microphone, which eventually stops working and we need to buy another separate device. The price of the device on Aliexpress is 750 rubles.

The model justifies its cost, even despite the rare cases of marriage.

Logitech C270i

In second place — LOGITECH C270i. An entry-level webcam that is mainly used for video conferencing. It comes in a bright box with a picture of the device itself and basic information about the model. The kit includes a stand with a camera pre-installed on it and a user manual. Oval shape design, like the entire line of cameras with the prefix «C». It is a platform on which the lens is located, as well as an indicator and a microphone. It seems to me that the dimensions could have been made smaller, but, apparently, this is not for this price range.

For 2022, the quality of the display is already not enough. But enough to just keep a video call with loved ones. This solution helps to slightly reduce the cost of the product. Smoothness of the picture — 30 Hz. Inside, a CMOS-type matrix is ​​​​used, and thanks to automatic light correction, the colors in the frame look natural and realistic even with a lack of light. Universal mount allows you to install the camera on a monitor or laptop, or on a horizontal surface. The microphone used here has a noise canceling function.. It captures the voice well at a distance of up to three meters. For comparison: another position of our TOP, which is cheaper, captures sound at a distance of up to five meters.

Proprietary RightLight 2 function, the camera quickly adapts to different lighting conditions, and the image will always be bright and contrast. The model has a younger brother, the difference between them lies in the length of the cable for connection — 2 meters versus 1, the distance at which the voice is recorded, and additional drivers. On the older version, the quality of materials is more premium and durable. There are practically no minuses here, except for the viewing angle, which is too small here, in some cases even 2 people cannot fit into it. The price of the model is 1,350 rubleswhich is not so small, given the prices of competitors.

The company is a reliable supplier of computer peripherals. Her products have always been of good quality. This also applies to webcams, so I can safely recommend this device for purchase, but the model is older, because for a small surcharge you get a useful and functional product.

TISHRIC H701

The TISHRIC H701 webcam became the leader of the rating. It has an elongated shape, and the entire body is dotted with round cutouts, which are so typical for the products of the Chinese company. According to users, the plastic is easily soiled, so the device collects fingerprints well (and in the photo after a short operation it is clearly visible). Supplied in a cardboard box of far from the highest quality. Image quality — Full HD. A standard CMOS-matrix is ​​installed inside. At the same time, autofocus works just fine, in this parameter the camera corresponds to more expensive models. Another difference is its light perception. The device focuses easily even in very low light, which is a huge plus compared to other competitors.

The mount is of good quality, thanks to it you can easily install the camera on a monitor or laptopas well as on a horizontal surface. The webcam rotates 360 degrees and has a large margin of inclination. To the right and left of the camera lens, we can see holes that are slightly larger than the others. Hidden underneath is a noise canceling microphone. Compatible with all operating systems and when connecting for the first time, it is enough to specify it as a display device, no additional drivers are required. The camera has a baffle that can completely close the lens with one easy movement. The webcam did not receive other features.

The disadvantages of the device are not critical, but still the main one is lack of brightness, so before you record video on it, it’s better to think again. And also here we include the already mentioned plastic, which collects prints better than an experienced investigator. The price of the device is 1,800 rubles.
