HTC's answer to the Omnia HD
So, it seems that HTC is a bit insecure about the Omnia HD. After only announcing three high end phones at the MWC 2009 (Touch Diamond2, Touch Pro2, and HTC Magic), and maybe after being insecure that the Omnia HD was getting a lot of attention rather than their phones, they've introduced some new phones to their line-up for 2009, including the HTC Superstar.
The HTC Superstar, is of course, just a codename and not the actual product name but according to Cellphone-reviews, the HTC Superstar looks like it would be competing directly with the Omnia HD. Both devices has the capability to plackback and record 720p videos. Although the screen of the Samsung Omnia HD already received a lot of raves, we have yet to see what kind of screen technology HTC would employ.
