Are you ready for the digital tv transition?

On June 12th, 2009, exactly 100 days from now, all analog TV signals will be turned off. If you're still using a TV that makes use of over the air signals (in other words, you have to shove your antenna through your window to get a proper signal), don't be alarmed when your TV can't get any signal come June 12th. No, it's not the apocalypse, it's just the US government wanting you to have a greater viewing pleasure by mandating that all US broadcasters switch to digital TV broadcasting.

Digital TV transition has been in the works for a few years now and if you've only heard of it now, YOU have been living under a rock. Anyways, it's not too late, you can still be digital TV compliant by: purchasing a TV with a digital TV tuner (if you already don't have one), buy an analog to digital TV signal converter box which you can get the price subsidized by the government, or subscribe to satellite TV or cable TV (they will provide you with the converter box).

So hurry before the apocalypse--er, transition catches up with you.
