Sony Cyber-Shot HX1

Sony has recently released their new Prosumer digital camera, the Sony Cyber-Shot HX1. The new Sony HX1 features an 'Exmor" CMOS sensor which Sony claims to be ideal for high-speed shooting and reduced image noise. The Sony HX1 also now features HD movie clips recording capabilities and you can record movies in 1080/30p. Also new is the G lens but I'm lost on all the camera talk so I'll just quote what Sony said on their press release:

Developed originally for the Sony Alpha Digital SLR family, the G Lens in the HX1 teams aspherical lens elements and ED (extra-low dispersion) lens for uncompromising optical precision. You’ll experience superb resolution and minimal chromatic aberration at all settings, from 28mm wide-angle right up to 560mm super telephoto. This generous 20x optical zoom range accommodates a huge range of shooting possibilities, from landscapes and fun-filled family moments to action-packed sports events.

Sounds cool--and EXPENSIVE. Anyways, the Sony Cyber-Shot HX1 will be available this May 2009.
