The concept behind FakeTV reminds me of Home Alone the movie. Anyways, FakeTV simulates the flickering lights of a normal TV. Rather than just a steady light, FakeTV simulates every flicker, dimming, and light movement that a normal TV can so that potential burlgars would be deterred, seeing that someone is at home, "watching TV".

One of the advantages of FakeTV over just turning on your TV is that the former consumes less energy. Of course, this gadget is not really recommended for small businesses.
