Easter Egg Hunting with a GPS

Okay, so Easter is still a few months away but for those who're thinking of celebrating full time, complete with the appearance of the Easter Bunny with Easter Egg Hunt and all, here's a good suggestion that would keep the adults entertained throughout your party: Easter Egg Hunt using GPS.

Of course, I really don't know how to go about this but I saw a similar task in one episode of Amazing Race. The teams were given a GPS device and they have to follow the signal to find a piece of article. I thought it was pretty cool but I don't know how you could program that on the GPS or what kind of GPS device was used. I said to myself, now that's a cool thing to do to spice up a treasure hunt game.

Maybe they were using Backtrack, a GPS device that would help you locate your previous location but I don't think it's capable of multiple input. I do know that this is possible, maybe a little more Googling will help. Of course, this could be more exciting if you're celebrating in an open space like the mall or park. However, if your guests are not too geeky, Celebrations.com has some more mellow Easter Celebration Ideas that you might dig.
