Sony Ericsson W902

Looks like mobile phone manufacturers may be in for a slump this 2009. I could tell from Sony Ericsson's releases that they're just recycling old features of their old mobile phones and repackaging them in a new design. Not a good way to go especially since mobile phone manufacturers are expected to be innovative. I mean, take a look at Motorola, they've slid down to the number three spot because all they do is recycle their Razr line.

With that being said, the Sony Ericsson W902 doesn't really offer anything new, except that maybe it's the first Walkman phone that features a 5 megapixel camera. So, would an added 5 megapixel camera make you want to pay premium when there are other models with the same features at the same price or if not much lower? Take the Nokia N95, it basically has the same features as the Sony Ericsson W902 plus it has a great camera comared with the mediocre quality of the W902.

Sony Ericsson W902 Reviews floating on the web doesn't really do much praise for the phone. Like me, many are saying that it's just not worth to upgrade if you have the same phone with a lower camera resolution (W760i). However, if you're a Sony fanboy and likes his toys new, then nobody would probalby stop you from buying the Sony Ericsson W902.
