Sports Gadget

Who said that jocks don't have geek in them? You can find tech everywhere even sports. Sure, most of the time, brawn is needed but a little bit of brain coupled with tech doesn't hurt to up every jock's game. Here are just of gadgets used in some sports.

Baseball

I must admit, I'm no sports fan. I used to think that touchdowns were to baseballs. Anyways, if you've always wondered how can umpires tell if the pitcher pitched a ball or strike, it's through the speed of their throw measured by a radar gun. With radar guns, umpire's calls are more accurate.

Golf

Not all of us are born with Tiger Wood's swing. So most would practice but here's a gadget that would probably help your swing: the SensoGlove. Armed with sensors and a tiny computer on the leather glove, the SensoGlove will give you a warning if there's a problem with your grip and will rate your grip from 1 to 18. Well, I guess it's true what golfers say: it's all in the grip.

American Football

Next time you want to brag about how far you threw a ball, here's a gadget that can back up your claim: the Virtual Distance Football. Also equipped with sensors, the Virtual Distance Football will measure how far it is thrown and also calculates the impact of a catch or fumble.
