Yacht Owners know how impossible it is to locate lost tenders so if you're already rich enough to buy a Yacht, why not invest in a system that can help you locate your Tender in case it's lost? Tender Tags might just be the answer. Using RFID technology, the Tender Tag will sound an alarm in case your Tender gets separated from your Yacht. Unpredictable waves are not the only thing that a captain has to worry about when towing Tenders, they also have to worry about bandits trying to steal these auxilliary craft.

TenderTag uses a 2.4 GHz active RFID tags attached on the Tender which transmits radio signals at the rate of 10 times per second. If the RFID transponder doesn't receive a signal in the span of 20 seconds, TenderTag will sound an alarm to alert the captain. Of course, if you're technically savvy enough, I'm sure you can make a similar system of your own using inexpensive RFID tags and transponders.
