The Mini E


The BMW Group has set the World Premier of it's Mini E car at the Los Angeles Auto Show this upcoming November. The company is set to deploy around 500 fleet of this mini electric cars for daily use. The Mini E which sports a Mini Cooper design is powered by a 150 KW electric motor which delivers 204 HP and runs on a high performance lithium-ion battery.

The Mini E is only a two-seater vehicle and weighs in at 1,465 kilograms. Production for the limited 500 models is expected to end by 2008 and will be initially available for private and corporate customers.
