Preventing the Blue Screen of Death

The Blue Screen of Death or BSoD is one of the worst case scenarios that your PC might encounter. When BSoD happens, your computer will suddenly freeze and your monitor will come up with a Blue Screen with some numbers and then it will either restart or just stay there.

One of the most common causes of BSoD is outdated drivers. Drivers are little programs that tell your PC what kind of hardware is attached to your PC. It differentiates a mouse from the keyboard and a printer from a camera, etc.

To prevent BSoD you should regularly update your PC’s drivers. These include printer drivers, motherboards, USB, etc. You can always download drivers from the manufacturer’s website or sites that host updated and outdated drivers such as Driver Library.
