Move over, iPhone, the Blackberry Storm is here

Though based on RIM's quarterly reports, the iPhone doesn't seem to be hurting its sales, the company deemed it necessary to reestablish their claim on the smartphone market by introducing the Blackberry Storm. The Blackberry Storm is RIM's first touch screen device and based on its specifications, it has one purpose in mind: kicking the iPhone's a**. The Blackberry Storm has a new and innovative touch screen interface, maybe even better than the iPhone's multitouch capability since according to reports, the Blackberry Storm is capable of simulating the actually pressing of keys like on a physical keyboard. Can't wait to see that.

And as if Blackberry's threat isn't enough, HTC is also bent on hurting Apple with its HTC Touch HD. Based on some HTC Touch HD Review circulating the net, this one seems to have a better screen resolution than the iPhone though the interface still can't compete with the iPhone.

Oh well, the more the competition, the better it is for us consumers so just keep 'em coming.
