At last, after so much speculation, the Google G1 Phone is finally here. If you can recall, after all the hype about the first generation iPhone a year ago, there were rumors about Google introducing their own phone. But a year passed without so much as a shadow of the G1 phone until last Tuesday.

Already Android forums are filled with news and talk about this much awaited and might I add, about as much hyped as the iPhone.

T-Mobile will carry the Google G1 phone in the US and will be released on Oct. 22nd. Price will be at $179 with a 2 year contract and data plans start at $25. So, will this be an iPhone killer? Well, it's not exactly pretty to look at but specwise it can give the iPhone run for its money. More about the G1 phone below:
