So, you have a brand new PC but you’re stuck with Windows Vista and all the official upgrades that Microsoft is releasing doesn’t seem to improve it? Well, how about just going for an Unofficial Windows Upgrade? Extensoft has launched a new software called Extensions for Windows. This software aims to extend the functionality of windows Vista and even XP by providing you with additional utilities. Functions such as screen/demo recorder, disk usage analysis, document converters, pdf creator, search and replace in files, virtual drive with encryption tools can be found in this all in one software. Of course there are also stand alone software such as Camtasia (creating demos) and DiskView (usage analyzer) which can also do some of the functions but these stand alone software would set you back more than the $50 price of Extensions for Windows.
